🔹 RIG MANAGER

📍 Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria

⏰ Employment: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Rig Manager to oversee drilling and workover operations, ensuring safe, efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of drilling programs in accordance with operational and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily drilling and workover rig operations in line with approved programs and procedures.
Monitor rig performance, operational efficiency, downtime, and productivity.
Supervise rig personnel, including Toolpushers, Drillers, Mechanics, Electricians, and other crew members.
Enforce HSE requirements and lead safety meetings, drills, and incident investigations.
Oversee rig maintenance, equipment integrity, certification, and critical spares.
Coordinate with Company Representatives, Well Engineers, contractors, and service providers.
Maintain accurate drilling, equipment, crew, maintenance, and incident records.
Monitor operational costs and support resource, vendor, and procurement activities.

Requirements

B.Sc./HND in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years’ drilling/workover experience, including at least 5 years in a Rig Manager, Rig Superintendent, Senior Toolpusher, Toolpusher, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of drilling operations, well control, rig equipment, drilling fluids, and maintenance.
Valid IWCF/IADC Well Control Certificate – Supervisor Level.
BOSIET or equivalent is an advantage.
Strong HSE, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
Knowledge of API, IADC, ISO, and relevant regulatory standards.

🔹 DRILLER / TOOLPUSHER / NIGHT TOOLPUSHER

📍 Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria
🛢️ Industry: Oil & Gas
⏰ Employment: Full-Time

Experienced Drillers, Toolpushers, and Night Toolpushers are required to oversee and support rig operations while ensuring drilling activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily drilling activities, including drilling, casing, tripping, and rig-up/rig-down operations.
Ensure compliance with approved drilling programs, procedures, schedules, and operational requirements.
Supervise drill crew and rig-floor personnel.
Monitor rig equipment and support troubleshooting of operational and technical issues.
Enforce HSE policies and participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, safety meetings, and incident investigations.
Coordinate with the Rig Manager, engineers, mechanics, electricians, and service providers.
Ensure effective shift handovers, crew discipline, equipment utilization, and operational reporting.
Support rig moves, site preparation, equipment integrity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

B.Sc./HND in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
Minimum 8 years’ drilling experience, with relevant supervisory experience for Toolpusher/Night Toolpusher positions.
Strong knowledge of drilling operations, rig equipment, drilling fluids, downhole tools, and well control.
Valid IWCF/IADC Well Control Certification and relevant HSE/safety certifications.
Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and crew-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure in remote and challenging rig environments.
