📍 Location: Basra, Iraq
🛠 Experience Required: Minimum 10 years (relevant to the role)
🔄 Work Schedule: Rotational (field-based)
🔧 Role Overview
Successful candidates will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant drilling operations. Responsibilities will include technical supervision, equipment maintenance, operational reporting, and coordination with rig teams and third-party service providers.
✅ Key Responsibilities (Across Roles)
Execute and supervise drilling and rig operations in line with approved procedures and safety standards
Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper maintenance and inspection
Prepare and maintain accurate operational and technical reports
Troubleshoot and resolve operational or technical issues
Coordinate with rig personnel, client representatives, and third-party contractors
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, well-control standards, and company procedures
Support safe execution of all drilling, maintenance, and rig-moving activities
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in drilling or rig operations
Degree, diploma, or technical qualification in a related discipline
Strong knowledge of drilling systems, rig equipment, and operational procedures
Valid IWCF / IADC certification (required for Toolpusher & Driller roles; preferred for others)
Experience with preventive maintenance systems (PMS)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, reports, and drilling data
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of HSE standards and well-control practices
Willingness to work in remote field locations on a rotational schedule
