Location: Offshore Malaysia (Labuan, Terengganu, Sarawak operations)
Employment Type: Contract
Experience Required: 5–10 years
Qualifications: Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
Age: 27 years old and above
Nationality: Malaysian Only
1. Directional Driller (Contract)
Location: Offshore Malaysia
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, execute, and supervise directional drilling to hit designated trajectories using CTD BHA.
• Monitor and optimize real-time drilling parameters (inclination, azimuth, WOB, RPM, flow rates).
• Coordinate with rig and engineering teams, ensuring safety and operational compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment or downhole issues swiftly and effectively.
• Uphold rigorous safety procedures and HSE standards throughout operations.
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering.
• 5–10 years offshore directional drilling experience.
• Well control certifications (e.g., IWCF, IADC), BOSIET.
• Competence with MWD/LWD systems and basic trajectory control methods.
Contract Rate: Daily Rate per day.
2. MWD Engineer (Contract)
Location: Offshore Malaysia
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, and maintain MWD tools; ensure continuous data acquisition and quality control.
• Collaborate with directional drillers and engineers to ensure BHA compatibility and accurate operational parameters.
• Diagnose tool issues and maintain uninterrupted data flow during drilling.
• Deliver timely, precise reports, logs, and records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and support HSE initiatives.
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering.
• 5–10 years MWD (or LWD) offshore experience in upstream operations.
• Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET).
• Excellent technical and teamwork skills.
Contract Rate: Daily Rate per day
3. Tool Specialist (Contract)
Location: Labuan Malaysia
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inspection, maintenance, and readiness of downhole and drilling tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure tools meet operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and maintenance schedules.
• Support rig crew training on tool handling, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
• Diploma in Engineering.
• 5–10 years offshore tool / BHA support experience.
• Solid understanding of drilling tools, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Compensation: Montly Rate
