Chief Electrician – Drilling Operations Nigeria

• Improvements to the drilling and/or servicing rigs.
• Responsible for the mechanical part of the site, ensures the proper functioning of the equipment, its routine and preventive maintenance and its good conservation by ensuring an economically sound management of it.
• Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment on the jack-up rig.
• Responsible for the operation of the mechanical and electrical installation.
• Reports daily to the Manager on the work performed and informs him immediately of any mechanical or electrical incidents that may have an influence on the drilling and/or workover program.
• Responsible for the training of his own staff and participates with the Manager in its assessment, he must install in the rest of the staff the mechanical knowledge necessary for drilling operations and / or Workover.

Requirements:

• 10/15 years in onshore or offshore drilling operation.
• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
• BOSIET/HUET/SAS
• Seaman’s Book
• Covid Vaccination Certificate.
