1. Driller: The driller is a key position on a land drilling rig. They are responsible for overseeing the drilling operations, operating the rig equipment, and supervising the drilling crew. The driller must have a thorough understanding of drilling techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.

2. Assistant Driller: The assistant driller works closely with the driller and assists in the operation and maintenance of the drilling rig. They typically perform tasks like operating drilling machinery, monitoring drilling parameters, and maintaining equipment.

1. Rig Manager/Supervisor: Rig managers or supervisors are responsible for overseeing the entire drilling operation. They coordinate activities, ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage the crew, and handle logistics and administrative tasks.
