Driller is in charge of rig floor operations, controls the drilling process, and is responsible for the down hole condition of the well. He directs the work of the drilling team to ensure a safe and efficient operation. The Driller is responsible for safely and efficiently controlling the operations on the drill floor, ensuring safety of the drill crew and all support personnel, ensuring proper care and maintenance of the equipment and the drill floor, as well as maintaining productivity to ensure attainment of the Company's and the contracting company's goals and objectives.
